July/Aug 2012 Cadet Orientation Flights

One of the more anticipated activities for CAP cadets is the orientation flight (O-Flight).  Numerous O-Flights were conducted this summer.  Some pictures are below.  You may view others by clicking here.

The cadet O-Flight program shares with cadets the thrill of flying. Every CAP cadet under age 18 is eligible for five flights in a powered aircraft (usually a single-engine Cessna).

NatCap Wing O-Flights originate from Davison Army Airfield at Ft Belvoir, Va.  For directions to the DAA operations building, please click here.

Cadets should ask their squadron leaders about scheduling their O-Flights.
